A former artist’s studio was transformed into a family home for a young couple and their two children.
The design approach focused on creating an open, flowing, and family-oriented space, while carefully preserving quiet and private zones.
The apartment was reconfigured to establish a strong connection between the living area and the kitchen, enabling shared moments, everyday togetherness, and effortless hosting.

A preservation-led approach guided the transformation: the original character and raw charm of the former studio were carefully retained, while warmth, material softness, and subtle contemporary elements were introduced. This balance allows the space to feel both rooted in its past and adapted to the rhythms of modern family life.
