A 45 sqm apartment in a 1960s Berlin building was carefully transformed into a minimal and highly considered home for a graphic designer, where clarity of space, light, and function come together to support both everyday living and creative work.
The design approach focused on practicality, flexibility, and the careful preservation of natural light, allowing the space to remain open, bright, and adaptable to different modes of living.

The layout was reconfigured by shifting the kitchen and shower, creating a welcoming entrance area that seamlessly connects the kitchen with the living space. The main room is designed as a multi-functional environment — transitioning effortlessly between living room, workspace, and home cinema, with a projection screen discreetly integrated into the ceiling. Windows facing the quiet backyard bring in soft, consistent light, reinforcing the calm and focused atmosphere. A restrained material palette and precise detailing ensure that the space feels both efficient and quietly refined.
